सीरीज़ की जानकारी

This is a story of a forbidden love that began with a lie and ended with truth. Lucas Bennett, a top student at Harvard Medical School, was drugged and cruelly abandoned by his boyfriend, Jasper. That same night, at a party, he met Jasper's father—Arthur DeVine, the godfather of the West Coast underworld. An aggressive embrace, followed by the words, "Not calling me Daddy anymore?"—unveiled the secret of that wild night three years ago: Lucas had once shared a reckless one-night stand with this stranger. As revenge, kidnapping, and buried truths intertwined, Lucas found himself trapped in a vortex of hatred and love. When his stepbrother Blake set a trap, when Jasper retaliated with a lethal injection, and when Amod used the lure of avenging his father to force Lucas to shoot Arthur—every single time, Arthur stood in front of him as a shield. When all the lies were torn apart, Lucas finally understood: the love potion had made him fall, but what kept him from ever wanting to get back up was that man's whispered words in the rain—"It's okay"—the embrace at the shooting range, and the promise uttered at gunpoint: "I'll try my best not to die." This is a story of two outcasts, abandoned by the world, holding each other close for warmth.
