After five years of a battered marriage, Ellie thought she could still win her husband Owen back with their unborn child. But the night she planned to tell him she was pregnant, Owen abandoned her on a deserted late-night road for his "benefactor" Sherry. That night, she lost their baby—and finally saw the truth of their marriage.Worse, as she digs deeper, Ellie discovers none of this was an accident, but a years-long conspiracy. The once gentle wife abandons her old self and uses her family’s power to take revenge. As layers of truth unfold, was Owen just a foolish, unfaithful man… or had he been part of the plan all along?
