Though he knows she’s engaged, he’s determined to have her at all costs, launching a paranoid and relentless pursuit to keep her by his side. Irene fiercely resists this dangerous, forced love and tries desperately to escape, but when her fiancé betrays her and her mother falls critically ill, she’s won over by Santino’s genuine devotion and protection. From bitter confrontation to deep love, their romance finally blooms—only for his enemies to launch a vengeful attack. Irene takes a fatal bullet for Santino…A love that begins with plunder and ends with sacrifice, darkly romantic and utterly gripping.
