SSS-level Star Core Master Kael Thorne, under the orders of his master Orian, heads to Earth to fulfill a marriage contract while also investigating the truth behind the tragic massacre of the Thorne family twenty years ago. Upon arriving at the Voss Manor in Silicon Valley, he is humiliated by the snobbish elder Seraphina, who throws 20 billion at him to break off the engagement. Kael Thorne tears up the marriage contract in public to show his strength and fatefully meets his fiancée, Lila Voss, whose star energy resonates strongly with his. Using his star core powers, Kael Thorne heals Wall Street chairman Harrison's Void Fire Poison and gains his support as a capital asset. He bets on stones at an energy auction to embarrass Bryce, the heir of the Rena Corporation, and kills the assassins responsible for his family's massacre on the Void black market arena, gradually exposing the Void Council's minion Selas, the Voss family traitor Julian Voss, and his own treacherous uncle Colin. As the investigation deepens, the Void Council's plot gradually comes to light: they plan to use a blood sacrifice to activate a Cross-Realm Array to summon the Void Lord and seize Kael Thorne's Star Core essence. When a projection of the Void Lord appears, Lila Voss is gravely injured trying to save Kael Thorne. In his grief and rage, Kael Thorne unleashes his star power, repelling the enemy and collecting three fragments of the Star Core. When the Void Lord's main body and vanguard fleet attack, Kael Thorne, with Lila Voss's help, gathers the full Star Core and kills the Void Lord, only to learn from him that his master Orian was the true mastermind behind everything. At the wedding, Orian shows up and admits that the family massacre was a trap designed to force Kael Thorne to awaken. Kael Thorne, severely wounded, awakens the Royal Guardian power in his consciousness, turns the tide, and imprisons Orian for life at the Mars Fortress. After the battle, the Silver Armor Messenger of Thorne's home star appears to welcome Kael Thorne back to the royal family. Kael Thorne takes the scepter, leads the human fleet to pursue rebels in deep space, while a more powerful alien civilization has quietly set its sights on the solar system, and a new interstellar war is on the horizon.
