For three years, Callie loved Andrew with silent devotion, enduring his indifference. But when his scheming first love falsely accuses her and Andrew coldly demands she donate a kidney as "penance," Callie's love turns to ash. She serves him divorce papers and disappears. Months later, she re-emerges, not as the meek wife he discarded, but as Callista Jon, the glittering, untouchable heiress to the powerful Jon family empire. As Andrew watches her command boardrooms and headlines, drowning in regret, he realizes he didn't just lose a wife—he lost a queen. Now, he'll do anything to win her back, but Callie has learned the most valuable lesson: some shines are meant to be admired from a distance.
