Anya, a young intern journalist, steps in to cover for her good friend Nancy—and in doing so, unexpectedly crosses paths with Michael, the most popular star athlete in the country. After their fateful night together, Anya is terrified of the potential fallout and resolves to keep their encounter a secret. But fate has other plans: Michael mistakes Nancy (the friend Anya was covering for) for the woman he spent the night with. This simple mix-up spirals into a series of misunderstandings and challenges—pitting Anya against her own desire to stay hidden, Michael against the confusion of his growing feelings, and Nancy against an identity she never asked for. As tensions rise, Anya must decide whether to come clean, or let the mistake unravel their lives further.
