Due to a cunning plan devised by her father, Emerson Gray found herself entangled in a forced marriage with CEO Alexander Smith, agreeing to an automatic divorce two years later. During this period, they were to remain strangers, with no need to meet each other. Upon Alexander's return to the country after two years, a twist of fate led him to mistakenly engage with Emerson, believing her to be Sammy, someone he thought he had been involved with before. Alexander's sole focus became divorcing Emerson promptly to marry Sammy. Unbeknownst to Alexander, Emerson worked within the Smith Group, intentionally adopting a rural disguise. She was selected by Alexander to serve as his personal secretary, and as they spent more time together, an unexpected bond developed, oblivious to the fact that they were actually married. The turning point came when Alexander discovered that the wife he disdained was his own secretary. Determined to win back Emerson's heart, clarify their misunderstandings, and punish Sammy for her actions, Alexander embarked on a journey to build a happy life together with Emerson and their child.
