Raised on a sprawling ranch by the powerful Blackwood family, Jacqueline—long-lost biological daughter of San Vito’s dominant Carlisle mafia clan—returns to her birth family’s coastal estate to investigate suspicious disruptions to Blackwood shipping routes. Within the Carlisle household, she uncovers a brutal hierarchy: the cruel, incompetent heir Vincent abuses and exploits the sharp, overlooked adopted daughter Violet, who secretly runs most of the family’s business. As Jacqueline unravels a decades-old conspiracy linking the rival Hawthorne family to her own childhood abduction, she dismantles the corruption, frees Violet from lifelong manipulation, and brings her back to the ranch to build a new life together.
