Li Xiaoyao, the carefree and laid-back heir to the Dragon King, has no interest in power—he just wants to be the best bathhouse scrubber around. Despite mastering ancient illusion magic and being the prophesied savior of Jiuzhou, he rejects the throne without hesitation. Things take a turn when his fiancée from the prestigious Nangong family calls off their engagement, only for his grandfather to arrange another marriage with the prideful and fiery Wei Lan. Though humiliated by the Wei family, Li Xiaoyao falls for Wei Lan at first sight. Unbothered by their insults, he knows they’ll meet again—at his coronation.
