Series details

Set in a parallel modern world with the small human town Ravencroft and ancient vampire Castle Blackmoor, this dark paranormal romance follows Elara, a struggling young doctor drowning in her family’s crippling medical debts. One stormy night, pureblood vampire lord Kael crashes into her clinic, his centuries-old blood madness calmed only by her unique rare blood that no other human possesses. He reveals Elara’s parents secretly took vampire loans years ago. To erase all her family’s debts and guarantee their safety, Elara signs a thirty-day blood pact binding her life to Kael, trapped in his isolated castle against her will. Betrayed by her greedy ex-boyfriend Dorian and targeted by jealous vampire cousin Seraphine, Elara repeatedly tries escaping yet gradually witnesses Kael’s hidden agony: every pureblood in his line is cursed to spiral into violent frenzy before the blood moon, doomed to self-destruction without her blood. As they navigate clan conspiracies, traitorous vampires and a ruthless council scheming to dethrone Kael, mutual trust blooms into quiet love. Their shared wrist marks link their emotions. When rival vampires kidnap Elara for blood trafficking, Kael charges alone to rescue her. At the council trial, their pact evolves into an eternal equal blood bond. The story closes with Elara choosing to stay beside the lonely three-hundred-year-old vampire, building a peaceful future beyond contracts and curses.
