Series details

When I was eight months pregnant, I was pushed down from the second floor of the Savino mansion. Everyone said the young mafia don, Felix, loved me more than anything. But when I woke up, my baby was gone, and my husband was nowhere to be found. I dragged my broken leg to the underground morgue to search for my child, only to hear him admit with my own ears: my baby had still been alive—and he had personally ordered him to stop breathing. To make the son of his former lover, Camilla, the sole heir, he arranged for me to be pushed downstairs, then fed me black-market drugs to destroy any chance I could ever get pregnant again. Later, he placed Camila's baby in my arms and forced me to raise another woman's son as my own. I did not break down. Instead, I collected recordings, surveillance footage, chat logs, and financial evidence. At the heir's baptism banquet, I delivered divorce papers, my black rose ring, and an encrypted hard drive—exposing the Don’s crimes to the entire Savino family. Only after I disappeared did Felix finally realize that he had killed not just our child, but all the love I had ever had for him. He punished Camilla, lost his title as Don, and knelt in the room where I once waited for him, overcome with regret. But I was already in France under a new identity. I built a fund named after my baby and dedicated it to saving more children. The greatest tragedy: Evelyn witnessed her husband's unthinkable cruelty—murdering their child, mutilating her body, and replacing her baby with another woman's son.The greatest triumph: She destroyed the entire family with evidence, power, and courage, rejected Felix completely, and became Evelyn Vane, who belongs to nobody.
