On her wedding anniversary, Ella’s perfect life shatters. Betrayed by her husband and her own half-sister, she’s pushed from a high-rise and left for dead. But Ella survives. Rescued by a reclusive billionaire who hides behind a wheelchair — and secrets of his own — she makes a vow: she will reclaim everything that was stolen from her. With his power and her determination, they begin a ruthless takedown of the people who destroyed her life. Yet as revenge turns into partnership, and partnership into something dangerously intimate, Ella faces an impossible question: When your heart starts beating again… is it for revenge — or for love?
