A modern-day expert in ancient scripts accidentally travels to a fantastical world during an excavation of an ancient tomb. In this world, cultivation is surprisingly simple: anyone who can recognize ancient celestial characters gains the corresponding powers. The protagonist, widely regarded as a failure, is on the verge of being expelled from their sect. However, at this critical moment, the protagonist realizes that the legendary ancient celestial script is actually just the modern-day Small Seal script. With this discovery, the protagonist's unexpected skill catches everyone by surprise, shutting down those who sought to expel them.
