After marrying Philadelphia's wealthiest tycoon Beckham, Elizabeth is forced into an absurd "split marriage"—six days a week, half her time belongs to her, the other half to Avanie, his late brother's widow. For seven years, she's framed as a mistress and assaulted in public, her father dies of humiliation, and when she falls off a cliff, her husband rushes to save someone else. Heartbroken, Elizabeth joins a cryogenic experiment, erases all traces of herself and leaves for Switzerland. When Beckham discovers Avanie murdered his brother, it's already too late. Fifty years later, she walks down the aisle with her true love, while a white-haired Beckham stands alone on the street corner, silently blessing the woman he destroyed.
