On the flight home from studying abroad, Elara Voss had a nightmare. In it, the four men who had always chased after her slowly fell for her replacement Summer Sullivan, and when Summer pretended to walk away, the four of them turned on Elara with shocking cruelty, destroying her family and leaving her to die. Touching down in Northgate, Elara watched in horror as everything from her dream began to come true. Refusing to be their victim, she cut them all off and married Jason Whitmore, the wealthiest man in Northgate. The four men laughed at her impulsive choice until they realized she had truly walked away for good, and by the time regret hit them, Elara was already gone forever.
