Vito, the cold-blooded heir of the Romano Mafia family in the Verano region, was druxed during a family betrayal and had a one-night romance with Elena, a tavern waitress, in a dim back alley. When Elena fled in a panic, she left behind half of the family's ruby pendant. Meanwhile, Vito was urgently dispatched overseas due to the family crisis, and the search for him was forced to be put on hold. Elena got pregnant by accident, only to find that her stepsister Selina was causing a murder. At her mother Mara's persistent pleading, the kind-hearted Elena took the blame for her sister and went to prison. In prison, she gave birth to her son Sebastian and sewed the remaining half of the ruby pendant into the swabs. After Selina discovered the pendant, she stole it, took Sebastian away, and with her own son Giovanni, pretended to be Elena and married into the Romano family, falsely claiming that Giovanni was of Vito's bloodline. Six years later, Vito returned to his homeland with his old godfather DonRomano. The old godfather adhered to the Mafia tradition and highly valued bloodline and talent for firearms. However, he found that Giovanni was afraid of firearms and had no talent at all. On the contrary, Sebastian, who was forced by Selina to compete for Giovanni, demonstrated an astonishing talent for disassembling and assembling firearms. The old godfather secretly took samples for a paternity test, and the truth gradually came to light. After Selina sensed the crisis, she launched a frantic pursuit of Elena and her son, even going so far as to poison the cake and hire killers to silence them. Sebastian, who is intelligent and courageous, has led his mother to escape in dangerous situations many times, demonstrating composure and strategy far beyond those of his peers. After Elena was released from prison, to avoid Selina's pursuit, she changed her name with her son. However, by a strange twist of fate, she ended up working as an armory helper in the Romano family. Vito and Elena met again. Although they couldn't recognize each other immediately, Vito developed an inexplicable sense of familiarity and a desire to protect Elena. With the DNA test results revealed, Vito finally confirmed that Sebastian was his biological son, while Elena was the woman who had been haunting his dreams back then. Selina's lies were completely exposed. She reaped what she had sown for her crimes such as impersonation and premeditated murder. Ultimately, Vito mobilized all the family resources to clear Elena's name. After going through numerous hardships, the family of three was finally reunited. Sebastian was recognized by the old godfather for his innate talent in firearms and became the true heir of the Romano family. And Elena has grown from a weak and forbearing woman at the bottom of society into a strong mother who can stand on her own feet and protect her family. The entire story is interwoven with gang power struggles, identity swaps, deep and tragic love affairs
