Belle Sue (formerly known as Luna Sue) and Julian Moore were childhood sweethearts. Julian once vowed at Luna's mother's grave to protect her forever. Years later, Luna studied abroad, and the two maintained a long-distance online romance for a decade. After a disfiguring car accident overseas, Luna underwent facial reconstruction and returned home with a new appearance, pregnant with Julian's child. But Gia Chandler, a scheming rival, manipulated Julian into doubting Belle's true identity. Heartbroken and terminally ill with cancer, Belle died carrying their unborn child, only for Julian to discover the devastating truth too late. Now, drowning in regret, he must face the consequences of his mistrust and the love he failed to recognize.
