Lucky charm Youyou, raised by her grandma in the countryside, joins her mother at the Warlord’s Mansion. Initially scorned by Third Young Master Lou Shaoheng, she wins him over with kindness and the truth behind his leg injury. Having dreamed twice of the Lou family’s crises, she warns them in time to save the warlord and eldest sister, exposing traitor Jiang Sheng’s plot. When Second Young Master Lou Shaotang returns, she helps him defeat Japanese businessman Shuichi Yamamoto in the chamber of commerce race with luck and wit. Eventually, Youyou resolves the Lou family’s disasters, boosts their status, gains the matriarch’s approval, and turns from an unwanted tag-along into the mansion’s beloved favorite.
