Mom, Why Didn’t You Save Me is a heartbreaking fantasy short‑drama. After dark mages assault the Magic Academy, eight‑year‑old Grace and her scheming younger sister Lena are infected with deadly shadow poison. Blinded by long‑held prejudice, their mother Isolde pours every bit of her precious healing star‑energy into deceitful Lena, completely abandoning mortally‑wounded Grace, who eventually fades away. Later, hard‑hitting evidence unveils Lena’s wicked tricks. Tormented by crushing guilt for her fatal error, Isolde gives up her respected high‑healer position. She settles near Grace’s resting place, spending the rest of her lonely life repenting for the irreversible harm she did to her own daughter.
