Emily Grant is a hard‑working accountant who’s barely exchanged three sentences with her cold, tyrannical boss, Patrick Morgan, in three years. Then her younger brother, Blake, storms into the office and, before everyone, hugs Patrick and calls him “brother‑in‑law.” Blake claims he’s from ten years in the future—and that in that future, Patrick is his brother‑in‑law, who has secretly loved Emily for years and even tattooed her name on his lower back. Emily is mortified, certain she’ll be fired. But Patrick secretly pulls Blake aside and asks coldly, “How did you know about the tattoo?”
