Eighty years ago, Cale, the Son of Gods, exhausted his divinity and turned to stone in a forbidden land to seal the black dragon Nidhogg and purge the corruption of the World Tree. Eight decades later, Selene, a fallen noble maiden, broke into the forbidden territory to escape a political marriage and accidentally awakened Cale with her blood. The two were bound as spouses by an ancient family marriage pact.Having lost his memories, Cale was mocked and bullied as a foolish son-in-law, yet he secretly reawakened his divine power to protect Selene, helping her resolve family crises and rise triumphantly in the royal trials. In the end, the two fell in love and stayed together in eternal happiness.
