Series details

Twenty-seven-year-old Ava Collins works as a publishing house proofreader. She buys a vintage tape recorder from a struggling old record store in New York. At midnight that same day, the recorder automatically plays an unrecorded voice message. A trembling unknown man warns her not to board the 8:10 subway the next morning. Ava dismisses it as a prank at first, yet she hesitates and skips the train — which later meets a devastating incident just as foretold. Every midnight, the recorder activates again. The man calls himself Liam, revealing he is her husband from a future timeline. He tells Ava they will first meet at Central Station on October 17, fall in love and marry within half a year. But one day after their wedding, they are trapped in a burning old building. Ava gives everything to shield Liam from falling rubble and perishes. Overwhelmed with grief after losing Ava, Liam spends three years building equipment to send audio messages back to the past. His only plea to Ava: never go to Central Station, never meet him, and never fall in love with him. Torn between following the warning to stay alive and the undeniable connection to this mysterious man from the future, Ava struggles with fate. Along this journey, she faces her deep fear of abandonment and finally learns the true meaning of love.
