Theresa died a tragic death, betrayed by the very family she sacrificed everything for. They pushed her into a horde of zombies to save their own skins. But fate offers a twisted second chance. She snaps awake, two weeks before the world ends. The flu is just a prelude; a zombie apocalypse is coming.
This time, Theresa is done being a pawn. She has only one goal: survive and thrive. When her parasitic family demands her house as a wedding gift for her step-brother, she laughs in their faces. She agrees to sell it to them—for a price of two million dollars, draining their life savings. It's the first of many ruthless decisions she will make.
Her secret weapon? A newly awakened system that grants her a vast, pocket dimension storage space. The more valuable the items she stores, the bigger it gets. While her clueless family celebrates their "win," she systematically strips her apartment bare, even ripping out the toilet and kitchen sink, leaving them a literal shell of a home.
Armed with her system, a loyal German Shepherd named Summer, and the money from the house sale, she acquires a remote, abandoned tunnel bunker and starts building her fortress. But she doesn't just build; she upgrades. The system rewards her efforts, reinforcing her walls with impenetrable steel, electrifying her fences, and even upgrading her loyal dog into a super-powered war hound.
While the world outside descends into chaos, Theresa is a whirlwind of preparation. She empties supermarkets, hoards food, fuel, medicine, and weapons in her infinite space. She’s not just building a shelter; she’s creating a paradise. She recruits other survivors with unique abilities—a botanist, a skilled fighter—not out of kindness, but because they’re useful.
But a place like this attracts attention. When a hostile group of survivors, led by a ruthless scavenger, tries to take her fortress by force, they find her ready. Her electrified fences, hidden traps, and a pack of genetically enhanced war dogs turn the tables. In a brutal and tactical display of power, Theresa doesn't just defend her home; she annihilates her enemies, proving that in this new world, she is a force to be reckoned with.
Theresa’s journey is one of cold, calculated survival. She uses her wits, her system, and her ruthless determination to carve out a piece of heaven in a world turning to hell. But in a world full of monsters, the most dangerous ones are often still human. Will Theresa’s fortress be enough to keep the horrors out, or will the true threat come from within?
