Megan’s fiancé Mark disappears without a trace on their wedding day. After four years of fruitless police investigations, she remains haunted by his disappearance. Desperate, Megan is taken by her best friend Jennifer to a secret underground shop selling hyper-realistic companion robots. To her horror, she finds Robot No.07 is none other than Mark. Drugged and shocked into submission, he is trapped and sold as a profitable product. Determined to save him, Megan endures humiliation and pretends to obey, while secretly collecting evidence. She finally uncovers the shocking truth: jealous and bitter over unrequited love, her best friend was the one who handed Mark over to the illegal shop. In the final confrontation, Megan cooperates with the police to take down the criminal operation. After surviving severe trauma, the two heal together and embrace a new beginning.
