A century ago, the Dragon King Cassius was cursed while saving the dragon clan. Only union with his destined mate could break it.
Dragon Princess Ella sealed her pure-blood dragon lineage to marry the human Oberon, becoming ordinary. Five years later, Oberon hired men to break her hands so his first love, Mina, could win a violin competition. He and a witch doctor also plucked Ella’s dragon scales and severed the tendons in her limbs. When Ella learned the truth, her father, Tywin, rescued her and took her back to the dragon clan for healing.
Three days later, Ella appeared in a wheelchair at the violin duel. With her bloodline sealed and only one-tenth of her power left, she defeated Mina—who used dark magic—and won the championship and the Dragon Envoy title. Oberon accused her of cheating, but Ella used a memory stone to expose Mina’s dark magic. Mina was banned forever.
Afterward, Oberon forced Ella to sign a divorce agreement. The moment their marriage certificate burned, Ella’s true dragon fortune returned, and the Smith family’s stock crashed.
On the eve of the soul-cleansing ritual, Mina and Oberon ambushed Ella and knocked her off a cliff. Cassius ignored the backlash and dove after her, shielding her with his dragon wings from the wind blades. They fell into the Spirit Spring Pool. Cassius confessed his love, but Ella hesitated because of her marriage trauma.
At the Dragon Welcoming Ceremony, Mina impersonated Ella on stage and was struck by lightning. Ella played the violin and summoned the Dragon King’s true form. Cassius exhausted his origin dragon power to break Ella’s seal. The dragon fell and was saved by the Dragon Empress Dowager. Ella restored her pure-blood golden dragon body, severed Oberon’s hands in public, stripped Mina’s bloodline, plucked out her scales, and threw her into the Demon Abyss.
Ella then learned that Cassius was the cursed Dragon King and rushed to the Dragon Palace. When she touched him, she was unharmed, and the Dragon God Ring lit up, proving she was his destined mate. Their union broke the curse.
