On her wedding day, with just twelve minutes left until the ceremony, Serena Sinclair’s fiancé Julian Croft keeps everyone waiting as he helps his best friend and bridesmaid Sabrina Vaughn touch up her makeup, ignoring his family’s repeated calls to hurry. At 8:58, the moment arrives. Serena sends a message to her childhood sweetheart Gabriel Ashby, who shows up right on time with a wedding car, a venue, and a dress all ready to go. He has been waiting for her for seven years. Serena gets into the car with Gabriel, and from that moment on, they face every crisis side by side and build the happy life they were meant to have.
