Liam Quinn was born into a wealthy family, with his mother being the world's richest man and his two and three aunts being top players in the military, martial arts, and financial industries. However, he fell in love with his childhood sweetheart Gabriella Luis and, in an accident where Gabriella Luis was about to be hit by a car, rushed over to stop him. As a result, he was injured in the sciatic nerve and doctors had originally declared him paralyzed for life. However, Liam Quinn's mother spent a huge amount of money to find a team of world-class medical experts to cure him. In order to test Gabriella Luis' feelings for Liam Quinn, Liam Quinn's mother asked him to pretend to be paralyzed and continue dating Gabriella Luis. And just before the wedding of Liam Quinn and Gabriella Luis, Liam Quinn decided to stand up from her wheelchair at the wedding and tell Gabriella Luis the true identities of her mother and aunt. Little did she know that when Liam Quinn was planning to discuss the wedding with Gabriella Luis, she unexpectedly stumbled upon Gabriella Luis and her good friend Brandon Carter's misdeeds. Gabriella Luis was even more domineering, telling Liam Quinn whether he would like to get married or not. Liam Quinn took a deep breath and pretended to agree to continue getting married, then turned around and called his mother, intending to turn the wedding banquet into a divorce banquet. And just when Liam Quinn was feeling down, he met Miss Sterling whose bag had been stolen by a thief. When passersby were indifferent, Liam Quinn got up from his wheelchair and chased after the thief, and helped Miss Sterling retrieve her bag. Miss Sterling knew that Liam Quinn had been cheated by his girlfriend and good brother, and decided to marry him. The next day at the wedding, when Gabriella Luis mocked Liam Quinn, Liam Quinn immediately announced that she was divorcing Gabriella Luis, and the real bride was someone else. In order to save face, Gabriella Luis also directly asked Liam Quinn's good friend Brandon Carter to propose to her on the spot. For a moment, the wedding competition kicked off with excitement
