Three years ago, Qin Shuang married Yang Simiao against her wealthy aunt's wishes, choosing love over money. She's spent those years caring for her husband and mother-in-law, giving everything for the family. But when her husband is diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer, she borrows money to pay for surgery. However, a cruel twist of fate reveals a shocking misunderstanding—her husband and mother-in-law think it's her who is ill. They seize all her assets and demand she abandon treatment. Just when she tries to clear things up, the other woman, pregnant with her husband's child, steps into their home. Her husband, eager to make space for his mistress, violently kicks Qin Shuang out.
