The Bride He Caged

Series details

A bloody shootout at the Starlight Restaurant changes Serena’s life forever. Caught in the crossfire of the underworld's most lethal tyrant, Roman, she expects to be silenced. Instead, he kidnaps her, locking the innocent waitress away in his impenetrable obsidian fortress. "Your life belongs to me now. Every breath you take is mine." Serena desperately fights for her freedom, but Roman’s dark, possessive obsession only grows. To the world, he is a cold-blooded monster; to her, he becomes an impenetrable shield. When rival gangs kidnap her to torture him, and a vicious fake fiancée tries to destroy her, Roman burns the entire city to the ground. "Which hand touched her?" becomes the last question his enemies ever hear before he pulls the trigger. To keep her safe from the Mafia Council, Roman pushes her away, silently going to war for five bloody months. When he returns, dripping in blood to save her from an abusive ex, the ultimate truth is revealed: The ruthless King didn't just slaughter his enemies—he secretly transferred his entire billion-dollar underground empire to her name. The Devil himself bows down, offering her his crown, his life, and a happily-ever-after she never saw coming.
