Series details

For three years, I was the wife of mafia Don Frank Nostra, destroying my body with treatments because I believed I was infertile. The day I finally learned I was pregnant, I discovered the truth: Frank had secretly fed me birth control for years—and his ex-wife Mia had just given birth to his child. I asked the old Don for a divorce and a new identity, but I had to survive seven more days inside the Nostra estate. Frank brought Mia and the baby into our bedroom, ordered me to serve them, and after the baby nearly suffocated, had me tortured in freezing water. I lost the child I had fought so hard to conceive. Then Mia humiliated my sick mother, and the next night I found her drowned in the family's dark water tank. When I demanded the security footage, Frank threatened me with my mother's funeral and sent me to the family's asylum, where I was drugged, deprived of sleep, and shocked until I stopped asking questions. At my mother's funeral, Frank left me again because Mia called. That night, I received the divorce decree, a new passport, and a one-way ticket. I broke my SIM card, disappeared overseas, and built a quiet life far from the Nostra family. Three years later, Frank finally found me at a small cat café in southern France—and learned that the baby I had lost was his.
