Series details

Loretta, an actuary, had been married to Raymond, the CEO of Poole Group, for six years, yet her husband always took the side of his first love, Patrice. During a kidnapping incident, Raymond chose to save Patrice's son at all costs and cruelly abandoned his own biological boy Jody, leading to the young child's tragic death. After that, Patrice and her child moved into their home, constantly making things difficult for Loretta and framing her. Raymond invariably shielded them and humiliated Loretta time and again. Broken by endless mistreatment and online harassment, Loretta gave up completely. She signed the divorce papers and left without a word, secretly gathering evidence to exact revenge. Deprived of its core asset and strategic backbone, Poole Group quickly declined. Raymond eventually uncovered the truth that Patrice had masterminded the kidnapping all along. Finally waking up to his grave mistakes, he traveled to a foreign country, knelt down and begged Loretta to take him back. But Loretta had long healed from her trauma, devoted herself to charity overseas and built an independent new life. She firmly turned him down, bidding farewell to her painful past forever.
