Series details

My name is Elara, and I am the only daughter of the God King. Seven years ago, I gave up my divine power for Damon. I stayed in the mortal realm and gave birth to his son, Nico. But for the past seven years, he made me wait again and again. He never gave me a proper title, and he never acknowledged our child. Then, as the selection council of Ares City drew near, Damon turned around and married Cassandra, a descendant of Ares, just to secure the Veyron family’s rule. Even crueler, at his own wedding, he denied that Nico was his son in front of a hall full of nobles. He even forced our child to call him “Uncle Damon.” That was when I finally understood. What he called love was nothing more than the cheapest bargaining chip on the scale of power. So I summoned my father, the God King, and revealed my true identity with my own hands at the very moment Damon thought he had won. Those who once looked down on me fell to their knees at my feet. Cassandra, who had humiliated Nico, was stripped of her right to speak in the council. The Veyron family lost Ares City. And Damon, after losing his power, his family, his wife, and his son, finally knelt outside the divine gates of Olympus, sobbing and begging for forgiveness. Unfortunately for him, Nico no longer needed a father. And I would never look back.
