Series details

With only one month left until the wedding, I uncovered my fiancé Julian's true colors. All his painstaking pursuit of me, even buying an island to propose, were nothing but schemes to get revenge on his arch-enemy Arthur. He even plotted with his friends to abandon me right on the wedding day and make me the laughingstock of the whole city. Ten years of deep affection and three years of companionship meant nothing. I was merely a pawn in his revenge game. Heartbroken, I dried my tears and chose to play along. I accompanied him to pick wedding dresses, listened to his sweet lies, and watched him painstakingly prepare a wedding doomed to fail. On the wedding day, three hundred guests gathered. He waited for me at the end of the red carpet, only to find an empty venue and a wedding dress I had cut to pieces with my own hands. I left without hesitation, leaving all the past behind and starting a new life abroad. Three years later, I achieved academic success and lived a calm and free life. In contrast, he went crazy searching for me all over the world, becoming a deserted groom mocked by everyone. When we met again, these two stubborn former lovers faced belated repentance and redemption. Yet I no longer loved him and would never turn back. From then on, I live not for love, but for my own freedom.
