Five years ago, fallen heiress Chloe pawned the "Sapphire Tear"—the sacred heirloom of Lorenzo, Los Angeles' most ruthless mafia godfather—to survive a stormy night, fleeing the city pregnant. For five years, Lorenzo has relentlessly hunted for the mysterious woman who stole his family treasure and captured his heart. Five years later, desperate to cure her 5-year-old genius hacker son Leo, who suffers from a rare golden blood disease, Chloe is forced to sign a contract to become Lorenzo's personal maid. As they clash in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, a shocking truth is unveiled: the brilliant little boy looking back at Lorenzo with his exact same icy-blue eyes is his own long-lost biological heir.
