Garance, a university student raised in an orphanage and burdened by massive student loans, agrees to a surrogacy arrangement for the politician Arnold to earn money—only to find herself, through a twist of fate, in the bed of Arnold’s father: the mob boss Sebastian. She is subsequently drawn into the Edwards family's power struggles, serving as a personal secretary. Meanwhile, Freya—a famous actress and Arnold’s mistress—also sets her sights on the godfather’s position, sparking a deadly contest for love and power among the four of them. When Garance inadvertently uncovers a massive scandal Arnold has been concealing, the stakes of this high-society game prove far too high for her to bear.
