Yimo Lynch's father divorced and remarried, leaving her mother seriously ill with insufficient funds for treatment. Seeking help from her boyfriend, he instead gave her to a wealthy older man for money. On the run, Yimo accidentally entered the room of Chris Lawson, who desired a child and was willing to pay $5 million for it. Thinking of her ailing mother, Yimo agreed. Later, she gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. Chris took away the daughter, while Yimo left the country with her son. Several years later, Yimo returned with her talented son, and fate intervened, reuniting her with Chris and their daughter.
