Series details

An unexpected phone call on Christmas Eve shatters Serena’s seemingly perfect marriage. Her husband Ethan’s other wife picks up the phone and refers to Serena’s five year old daughter Lily as “the nanny’s kid” — and the little girl hears every word. Serena is jolted into the harsh truth: Ethan has been living a double married life for eleven years. He built two full households, framing her and her daughter as a nanny and her out of wedlock child, erasing their true identities entirely. Once a brilliant elite lawyer at a top tier law firm, Serena gave up her career for her family, only to find herself trapped inside a carefully constructed web of lies. Ethan shows no remorse. Instead, he twists the facts, falsely accusing her of mental instability in an attempt to seize full custody of their daughter. Pushed to the brink, Serena and Victoria — the woman who should have been her rival — join forces to stand against the selfish, deceitful Ethan. More ugly secrets come to light: Ethan views all the children as mere pawns in his schemes and even plans to flee the country with them. A carefully arranged face to face conversation yields vital recorded evidence. In the end, Ethan’s crimes come to light and he faces severe legal punishment. The two mothers heal from the wounds of betrayal, protect their three hurt children, and step forward to build brand new lives after everything falls apart.
