Evelyn’s world ended the day she returned from a prenatal appointment to find her husband tenderly massaging oil onto his first love’s pregnant belly. When Evelyn suffered a severe allergic reaction, he locked her away, indifferent to her agony—a choice that cost her their unborn child. Broken, she walked away and rebuilt herself in the quiet strength of her friend’s architecture firm, constructing a new life from the wreckage of the old. Months later, Edward finds her at the love-lock bridge where they once promised forever. Now, he’s on the other side of the railing, threatening to jump unless she forgives him. Evelyn faces an impossible choice: reach out and save the man who shattered her, or turn away and let the past finally fall.
