Princess Eleanor of the Human Empire marries Lorien Elindor, Crown Prince of the Elven Kingdom, in accordance with the alliance between their two nations. For two years after their wedding, Lorien remains distant and cold, never showing her any affection. Court tabloids even spread vicious rumors that he is secretly involved with a Dark Elf. Unable to bear it any longer, Eleanor prepares to submit a formal petition to dissolve their marriage.
But on the very day she plans to submit the papers, Eleanor accidentally stumbles into Lorien’s arms—and awakens a unique ability: whenever she touches him, she can hear every thought in his mind. She is stunned to discover that beneath his cold, moonstone-like exterior, Lorien is passionately in love with her and has been desperately trying to suppress his feelings. The truth is that Lorien carries the ancient bloodline of the Moon-Soul Wolf and can transform into a giant white wolf. When he first transformed as a young man, the person he loved was terrified and abandoned him, leaving him deeply traumatized. Fearing that Eleanor would flee in the same way if she saw his true form, he deliberately kept his distance. Meanwhile, his cousin Valerius has long coveted the throne and has been secretly plotting against him.
Eleanor pretends to maintain their marriage while secretly testing Lorien and uncovering his hidden secrets. Valerius bribes an elven girl named Claire to poison Lorien’s tea, forcing his wolf bloodline to awaken prematurely. Eleanor rushes into the council chamber and witnesses Lorien lose control and transform into a gigantic silver-white Moon-Soul Wolf. Terrified that Eleanor will abandon him like everyone else in his past, Lorien is stunned when she chooses to stay and accepts his beast form.
As more secrets come to light, they discover that Valerius had secretly altered the marriage treaty before the wedding, adding a forbidden Clause 103 that prohibited the couple from having any intimate contact. Lorien had always believed this was Eleanor’s wish, which was why he had strictly respected the boundary and deliberately kept his distance for two years. Claire is not inherently evil, either. She was cursed by a witch and forced to play the role of a “third party” to sabotage the marriage. If she failed, she would be struck by moonlight lightning and lose her soul. Valerius used the curse to blackmail her into poisoning Lorien. Taking pity on Claire, Eleanor agrees to pretend to be Lorien and help her complete the role required by the curse.
However, Lorien catches them during the act, leading to a huge misunderstanding. Meanwhile, the diplomat Thomas delivers a rather suggestive gift, seemingly confirming the palace rumor that the prince is “incapable in the bedroom.” After a series of hilarious misunderstandings, Lorien finally learns that Eleanor can hear his thoughts. They clear up every misunderstanding and finally understand each other’s true feelings.
With the full-moon coronation ceremony approaching, Valerius plans to force Lorien to lose control and transform in front of the entire court, using it as an excuse to strip him of his right to inherit the throne. Eleanor assembles a team consisting of the cursed Claire and Thomas, an inventive diplomat, and gathers all the evidence they need. At the ceremony, Valerius releases fabricated footage in an attempt to expose Lorien’s wolf bloodline and destroy his claim to the throne. But Eleanor and Lorien turn the tables. Lorien chooses to publicly reveal his identity as a Moon-Soul Wolf, while exposing all the evidence of Valerius’s tampering with the marriage treaty and his attempt to poison and assassinate the Crown Prince. Valerius’s conspiracy is exposed, and he is ultimately struck down by the very moonlight lightning bound to Claire’s curse.
With the crisis over, the witch’s contract automatically becomes void once the destined bond is fulfilled, freeing Claire from her curse and allowing her to become Eleanor’s lady-in-waiting. The mutual, fated mind-bond between Lorien and Eleanor is finally fully awakened. With every barrier between them gone, they become true partners in both heart and soul, ruling the Elven Kingdom together and embracing their happily-ever-after.
