Series details

Twenty-eight-year-old Loretta had a happy family, until her five-year-old beloved son Jody was kidnapped. At a life-or-death moment, her husband Raymond chose to protect Brett, the child of his first love Patrice, and cruelly abandoned his own biological son, resulting in Jody's tragic death. After their son’s death, Raymond let his first love and her child take over everything in the house, erased all traces of Jody's existence, and subjected Loretta to constant humiliation. Her heart utterly shattered, she signed the divorce papers, fled far away to Provence, healed wounded children and started a new life. Tormented by remorse, Raymond slowly crumbled. After losing everything, he searched for her relentlessly for two years and knelt down to beg for forgiveness. But Loretta had long let go of all love and hatred and no longer needed him. In the end, she broke free from the chains of her past and found redemption, while Raymond and his first love would carry the sin that destroyed their love for the rest of their lives.
