Struggling to survive under the relentless persecution of her cold-hearted stepmother, Eve gives birth alone to a pure-blooded child. Meanwhile, a dark romance unfolds amid conspiracy, misunderstanding, and redemption, centered on the Sterling family's inheritance and the mystery of their blood pact. As Eve lies dying, William finally confronts his inner demons, while she discovers the truth about her origins. After overcoming countless misunderstandings, the two are united in a grand, century-defining wedding.
