Ivy Doyle and Iris Doyle are twin sisters. The elder sister, Iris, was cast out at birth for her crimson eyes. The younger sister, Ivy, blind from birth, is betrayed by her husband and pushed off a cliff to her death years later. Iris, now the head of the shadowy assassin organization Umbral, returns for vengeance. Disguised as her deceased sister, she infiltrates the Doyle family to uncover the truth. Through her extraordinary skill, she earns the prestigious title of Imperial Gastronome, navigates the treacherous affairs of the court, and ultimately uses her position to quell a brewing war. With justice served and her sister avenged, she walks away from it all, leaving behind the glory she earned.
