At her own anniversary party, Sienna signs the divorce papers while her husband, Luca Moretti, slow-dances with his ex under the chandeliers she chose. Pregnant and heartbroken, she escapes New York and hides in her aunt’s small-town bakery. Just when she thinks she has lost everything, Dante Salvatore—the most feared man in the territory—steps in and places her under his protection. But the truth is not what it seems. Luca’s betrayal may have been staged, his ex may have been used as a pawn, and the marriage Sienna walked away from was destroyed by a conspiracy bigger than love. Then Luca is shot, and Sienna’s unborn son is named heir to the entire Moretti empire—turning mother and child into targets overnight.
