Jenessa discovered she was pregnant, only to find her husband Ryan throwing a party for his first love Maisie. Their marriage was just to appease his family. Jenessa filed for divorce, hid her pregnancy, and braced for war. Maisie moved in, schemed, and nearly had her assaulted. Ryan was a walking contradiction, cruel one moment, violently protective the next. With her bestie's help, Jenessa reclaimed her secret identity as designer Sloane. She also was the one who saved Ryan from a fire years ago, not Maisie. Jenessa exposed her in front of everyone. But for Ryan's dying grandmother, she stayed, balancing Maisie's hatred and Ryan's confusing devotion, while guarding the life growing inside her.
