Reeling from her fiancé's public betrayal, Flora seeks solace—and revenge—in the arms of a dark, captivating stranger at a bar. Learning he is Vittorio, a mysterious elder relative of her ex, she makes an impulsive, spiteful vow: she will marry him. But her act of petty vengeance plunges her into a world she never imagined. Vittorio is no ordinary aristocrat; he is a vampire, ancient and dangerous. And in his locked study, Flora discovers a portrait of a woman who looks exactly like her—painted eighty years ago. Now, she must unravel whether she is a pawn in his immortal game, the reincarnation of a lost love, or the key to a destiny written in blood.
