सीरीज़ की जानकारी

Elena, a financial analyst in New York, is publicly dumped by her five-year boyfriend Julian at a charity gala. Julian mocks her for her humble origins, sneering that she is nothing but a social climber using others for power. One rainy night, while fixing her car downstairs at her apartment building, Elena crosses paths with Xavier, a quiet auto mechanic. Overwhelmed by emotional breakdown, she impulsively proposes a flash marriage. Xavier accepts. After they wed, Elena discovers that though Xavier lives in a run-down repair shop, he can cut straight to the heart of matters with just a few words whenever she faces workplace sabotage. Guided by his insights, Elena mounts a steady counterattack against Julian. During a trust fund awards event, she exposes Julian’s scandal of embezzling client funds. Just as Elena believes she has made it entirely on her own merit, she stumbles upon a family crest of the Sterling conglomerate engraved on the inner band of her wedding ring. She learns that Xavier is none other than the long-vanished 28-th-generation heir to the Sterling fortune, a figure shrouded in media mystery. The old tycoon left behind a stringent will: the heir must enter a genuine marriage and live with their spouse for a full year to unlock the full trust estate. Should this condition fail, the inheritance will fall permanently into the hands of his uncle Ivan. Eager to seize the fortune, Ivan covertly backs Julian to stir up trouble and attempts to manipulate records of Elena’s family background. Furious at the thought that she had been reduced to a pawn, Elena digs into Julian’s affairs and makes a staggering discovery: she is the legitimate granddaughter of Thomas, the late attorney and a close confidant of the late Sterling patriarch. Thomas also left her a trust fund powerful enough to check the Sterling estate — and Julian had abused his professional position to suppress her claim to it. Elena chooses to form an alliance of mutual interest with Xavier, and the two join forces to fight back. At the climactic board meeting, they present the trust documents, validating Xavier’s right to the family inheritance. Julian is arrested for fraud, and Ivan’s temporary custodianship is revoked. Xavier makes a high-profile announcement: he and Elena will sign a true marital contract. From the gritty repair shop to the opulent conglomerate headquarters, he finally grants her a future built on full equality.
