Jiang Wenyu’s seven-year marriage to Fu Yuning crumbles when she discovers his betrayal with her best friend, Shu Yue. Suspecting Wenyu wasn’t the woman who saved his life years ago, Fu Yuning divorces her, even after she endures a horrific kidnapping and disfigurement. Left to work in a degrading nightclub to pay her mother’s medical bills, Wenyu suffers abuse and confinement at Fu Yuning’s hands. Amid the darkness, her loyal friend Feifei offers solace—until Shu Yue brutally silences Feifei and frames Wenyu by burning down the nightclub. Shu Yue escalates her cruelty, threatening Wenyu’s family and orchestrating their deaths, leaving Wenyu utterly broken.
