12 Days Postpartum, He Chose Her Baby Episode 1

Series details

Twelve days after giving birth to our daughter Ellie, I saw my husband Ethan post a photo holding his coworker Vanessa's newborn son and call himself a first-time dad. While everyone congratulated him on his “wife and son,” he never corrected them. I took my daughter, moved out, and began quietly preserving every piece of evidence instead of confronting him. With my friend Nina's help, I learned Ethan had grown close to Vanessa while I was pregnant, while Vanessa deliberately used private social-media posts to provoke me and make me look emotionally unstable. I contacted a family-law attorney and checked only the financial records I could legally access. What I found was worse than one humiliating post: for ten months, Ethan had been using our family money on Vanessa. Then I opened a shared life-insurance file. The policy was worth five hundred thousand dollars, and the beneficiary wasn't me or our daughter. There was only one name: Vanessa Reed.
