Gu Lanshan and Fu Xinhan loved each other for ten years and had been married for seven, but she suffered betrayal from her husband. Heartbroken, Gu Lanshan decided to divorce Fu Xinhan, who agreed without hesitation. She thought this would be liberation, only to be treated as a discard by her snobbish and cold-hearted father, who forced her to remarry someone else for the family's interests. At this time, Sheng Wuwang, the powerful figure in Jiangcheng who could manipulate situations at will, had long been secretly in love with Gu Lanshan and had been watching her silently. Eventually, Fu Xinhan saw through Xu Zhenzhen's hypocrisy and the irreversible mistake he had made, and let go in endless regret. Gu Lanshan, however, stayed by Sheng Wuwang's side, broke free from the shackles of the past, and found her own happiness and new life.
