A Distress Call to Mom Episode 1

Series details

Victoria, a high-ranking executive at Vance Group, has long neglected her biological daughter Chloe while doting on foster daughter Sienna—unaware that Sienna is actually the illegitimate child of her husband and his mistress. Jealous Sienna teams up with classmates to brutally bully Chloe, piercing her fingers with steel needles. Chloe calls her mother for help again and again, but Victoria dismisses it as tantrums, hanging up and turning off her phone—cutting off her daughter's last chance at survival. Driven to jump from a building, Chloe briefly regains consciousness in the hospital, only for her husband and Sienna to pull her oxygen tube and kill her. Assistant Erik recovers a USB drive containing the full bullying footage. Victoria finally sees the truth and realizes she herself closed the door on her daughter's life. She transforms into an avenger, turning Sienna against her followers, luring them into public confessions, and working with police to bring all the perpetrators to justice. In the end, Victoria establishes the Chloe Anti-Bullying Foundation, then holds her daughter's ashes and leaps into the sea to be with her in another world.
